Born in Fleetwood, Mike has lived in many parts of Lancashire, North and South and still lives there today.
After a grammar school education he worked as a draughtsman before joining the RAF where he was a musician in the band.
He worked for many years as a Police detective before illness forced him to quit and then along came the chance to work with his favourite pastime....... Music and Red Rose Radio.
Music of any kind appeals to Mike he says "there are only two types of Music..... Good and Bad.(personally I think there are three types but we wont mention Derek Websters singing here)
